The Tree of Life is an ancient system of healing and information used by many cultures. In Crystalline Consciousness Technique™, it is associated with 9 planets and the sun, but is not necessarily aligned with more traditional astrology views. In this layout, the planets and sun were muscle tested to determine which one associated with each circle, bringing surprising results. In addition to the planets, the Tree of Life has a word associated with each circle.

In this Tree of Life, the order of the numbers was also muscle tested. If one follows the numbers above, it creates a spiral. Caroline Myss in her book Anatomy Of The Spirit compared the Tree of Life to the Chakras with the sixth, fifth, and third chakras/circles being paired. If you follow the CCT numbering of the Tree of Life, you move from the crown, to the front of the 3rd eye, then the front of the throat, front of the solar plexus, root, back of the solar plexus, back of the throat, back of the third eye, heart, and finally, second chakra or the lower tantien. This point, just below the navel is considered to be where the soul fuses with the physical body, and creates great power throughout the body when we are centered from this point.

The following descriptions of the planets are from the book, Alan Oken’s Complete Astrology.

1.        Crown/Sun: The sun represents the animating force of life, or electricity. This can be seen traditionally at the crown chakra as a halo of light. Representing the archetypal father energy, the crown has no duality, no paired circle.

2.        Wisdom/Jupiter: Jupiter represents the light of wisdom, which comes from understanding the universal laws governing humanity. This circle is paired with the opposite circle, Understanding/Neptune to make up the front and back of the third eye.

3.        Mercy/Uranus: The light of illumination, Uranus holds the quality of the humanitarian.  Mercy, a form of compassion intricately links with this quality. Uranus  is also associated with intuitive faculties and awakening of higher consciousness. This circle is paired with Power/Mercury to make up the throat chakra, an important center for intuitive faculties.

4.        Victory/Mars: This planet holds the energy of a fighting spirit and the desire to succeed. Victory is attained anytime we access our fighting spirit to overcome great adversity. This circle is paired with Glory/Pluto to make up the solar chakra.

5.        Kingdom/Saturn: Associated with the Lord of Karma, the force of ambition and the builder of empires, this planet fires up the root chakra with life force energy. Our karma is held in the DNA as a blueprint for our lives to follow, heal or release. Lying below Earth, the karmic aspects of Saturn determines our experience here on this planet.

6.        Glory/Pluto: Considered the light of transcendence, transmutation of energy and the renewal of life force, Pluto speaks to the transcendent quality in the solar plexus known as Ka energy. When the Ka energy is activated it creates a sense of glory.

7.        Power/Mercury: As the light of the messenger, Mercury transmits the spiritual into the material. This creates great spiritual power within the human system. As the back of the throat chakra, this circle represents the transformative aspect of our voice in speaking, chanting, toning and singing.

8.        Understanding/Neptune: Considered the light of inspiration, Neptune is connected to psychic powers, mysticism and prophecy. When the third eye has a mystic experience, instant understanding of esoteric realms is possible.

9.        Beauty/Venus: This circle is associated with the heart chakra. The heart loves beauty, the visual expression of love. Venus represents the light of beauty and awakens sentiments of love and sharing. The heart has no duality, or paired circle.

10.  Foundation/Earth: Located in the lower tan tien just below the navel, this circle represents our foundation, Earth herself. In astrology, the moon is considered to have the qualities of the Archetypal Mother, the form-giving aspect of life but the moon merely reflects back to the Earth her own qualities so that she can know herself.
